Good Friday. The Epitaphios has already been prepared. Christ is dead. Throughout Greece, as elsewhere in the Orthodox world, his icon, or more precisely his shroud—a large, luxuriously decorated embroidered cloth—is displayed.

Greek Spring
The Greek Spring is said to be exceptional, namely cool for the season, windy and rainy. The “postcard” scene is there nonetheless, like the small trawler named Saint-Nicolas, moored opposite the island of Poros.
